i have a question...

sorry if this one's not that really important.. or if i posted this on the right section..
but i just want to ask where to buy some booster packs/decks (pokemon card store) in london area?...
cause i'm living in luton and i'm really having a hard time buying cards cause i can't find any here...

Best person to ask is John himself - he sells cards at less than retail price.

Usually places like Woolworths have them (I've seen some in tesco's and WH Smith recently) or the entertainer toy shop.

If you don't have anywhere like that, or they don't sell them mail order is another option.

Ok, if you are going to travle into london, Theres a few regular hard to miss shops. Forbidden planet which is a 5-10 minute walk from Charing cross station which is exactly next to Trafalgar square. Map and link on request

But i would probably expect your train to terminate in Kings Cross St pancras. In which case you want to get a train to Leicester square and walk 2 minutes from there.

There are Wolworths in nearly every town/centre in which will probably sell them. Theres specific game shops which will sell them. GAME/Game station also stock in them and therefore they will sell them.

If you want a proper suplier then i would recommending ordering off of Play.com or getting in contact with a Tournament organizer/legue leader. I know theres a legue to the north of you in leicester or maybe if youre coming to london one saturday i can arrange a meeting place with you?

If theres anything else you need to know i will be happy to provide it.

well, thank you very much for the info...
maybe mom don't mind if we go to the stores there during family's day out... and i'll also try if there available packs in hamley's london...

btw, i already ask woolworths and waterstones in our town centre,, but they say that i should order first then it will take 2-3 weeks before it come there... but the problem is that only few booster packs are available (limited to holon phantoms, d&p, mysterious treasure)

i already search the net for forbidden planet london.. and wrote the address as well...

Average retail price for a booster these days is £2.99.

yup, thanks very much.. my brother went to Gamestation yesterday.. but the only available is the majestic dawn @ £2.99 ....

Alternatively - go to Pokebeach. Have a look at what cards you'd like to use in a deck, and we'll look to see if we have them and sort something out.

my mom saw a booster pack at Tesco's that is 2 for £5...
is this an original booster? or how do i know if it not fake or someting...

Tesco cannot sell fakes. The packs 2 for £5 are real. Unless there is a card you really like, I'd advise against buying diamond & pearl, mysterious treasures and secret wonders as they will have a modified tournament life span of less than a year.
